I've done memes similar to this before, but this is one that you can repeat several times without just reiterating the same information. So I thought I'd post it again.
Once you have been tagged, you have to write a blog with 10 random things, facts, goals, or habits about yourself. At the end, choose 10 anyone you think may answer - to be tagged, listing their names & why you chose them. Don't forget to leave them a comment (you're it!) and to read your blog for instructions. You can't tag a person who has tagged you. Since you can't re-tag me, let me know when you've posted your blog so I can read the answers!
1) I dislike being interrupted when I'm alone in the room and I'm working (which can't be helped, because people don't just magically know when I am and am not working, but it still bothers me sometimes). I especially dislike being interrupted when I'm alone in the room and I'm supposed to be working, but I'm not. :)
2) I don't know why I'm friends with a lot of the people I'm friends with. And that can be interpreted all kinds of wrong ways, so let me clarify. I don't mean that they're disposable friends, or that I don't care about them. I know why I'm friends with them. I just don't know why they're friends with me. (Often we're very different in personality and lifestyle, and it makes me wonder what they see in me.) But I have a really diverse circle of friends, and that makes me happy.
3) My favorite kind of soda is orange soda. Second favorite is Pepsi. (And yet, 99% of the time I drink Coke...)
4) I somehow manage to be far too trusting of people and far too doubting of them at the same time.
5) I have really soft skin and really soft hair. People like touching my hair a lot. In fact, one of the most frequent comments I get on my appearance is, "You should really wear your hair down more often. Or ever."
6) One of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me was at a Newman Society dinner I was attending (despite the fact that I'm not Catholic), when Gina turned to me and said, "Sarah, you are one of the nicest and calmest people I've ever met." :D
7) I would like to live all by myself for at least a year sometime in my life (most likely after college and before I get married/move in with someone). I think it's the only way I can truly figure out more about who I am.
8) I'm fascinated by etymology- the study of where words come from.
9) I somehow manage to be both a Taurus (characterized by a love of beauty and of the material) and a minimalist. Lately I've been trying to downsize my life as much as possible. My goal is to one day have as few possessions as possible, but for all of them to be beautiful and meaningful.
10) I occasionally compose music on the piano.
It says to choose 10 people, but I'm only going to choose 8. I don't mind if you don't answer, though.
