I GOT IN!!!

I was one of the first people there at seven thirty, but at least I wasn't the only one wandering around looking vaguely lost. Hour long little PowerPoint presentation, found I really liked the schools attitude. They don't hold you by the hand but they help. Learned parking is going to be a bitch, but cheap lunches are nice. I don't have to take any developmental classes which is awesome, it means I can jump right into my core curriculum.
Scheduled my classes, saw Ms.Sue, headed for finical aid. I was the first in line .... pretty much everywhere, and by the time I was walking out, hundreds of people were crowding around the orientation class X-x I was the only one in there for the financial aid stuff, skipped down to get my ID where no one was, and then was the first to get books. I was all but giggling as I stepped out. All in all it took me less than three hours for everything.
Of course then it was pouring down rain and I had to wade across the street, only to find my car was almost stuck because someone had parked to close and almost boxed me in. But I got out, and now I'm sitting at home in a daze eating cookies and updating.
In a few minutes I'm determined to write all the important dates I need in my calendar, and then I have to see how my class schedule conflicts with all the doctors appointments I have over the next few weeks.
And then I do laundry.... and then maybe I'll take a nap
