(no subject)
So was anyone else freaked out by the giant green leaf at the top of LJ?
No? Just me? Okay.
Well today was just AWESOME.
Went and got my hair cut, it's a little shorter than I'd like but It'll grow
Hung out and chatted for a while with old freind from cafe (Had a slight down moment when I almost climbed over the counter and smacked her when she called a gay relationship gross) Learned she was getting married in June!
My Mom took me out to a nice Chinese Buffet place that is always yummy
And then she took me YARN shopping.
I think I kind of shocked her when I started squealing in the store when she picked me up a set of long looms. LOL I couldn't help it I was so exited. She got me some more stuffing for toys and safety eyes and such along with hot glue sticks that actually fit my gun.
So. Much Yarn! *Flail of Joy* I have a shawl that I need to make her now and a Baby blanket for my little nephew. I even have a giant 3 pack of the peaches and cream cotton yarn that I'm thinking of making a few dish cloths out of. It was on SALE!
Words cannot describe how giddy I am. I'm going to work hard tonight to finish my fingeless gloves and a few other projects so I can get started on my long loom work!
Oh and by the way, I made another journal for my crafty things
Because I know not everyone really cares about my yarny exploits
