Mild Spoilers for I am Legend that everyone probably already knows about
*Sobs* I LOVE MY NETBOOK
I'm curled up in one of my the comfy chairs in The Library
There are alot more people here then they used to be
I used to study in this area
People are starting to discover that there are in fact plugs in the floor
I know some of you want to throw a book at my head
but its been a while since I actually had something this shiny and awesome
and actually got to use it before it broke
Im actually taking care of it this time too
Im such a Giant Dork I was so thrilled about the tea shop
that I didn't stop to think that I'VE NEVER ACTUALLY DRANK LOOSE TEA BEFORE
So now I'm poking around online trying to figure out what to do
Note of amusement The bit has a really nasty rash right now that we're fighting
After I tell my Mom I'm going to give him a bath she looks at me and says
"Do you wanna Add cornstarch to the water?"
Now maybe some of you have heard of this
I never have, anywhere.
I immediately bit the inside of my lip to start cracking all the jokes that pop up in my head because I know she's just trying to help, and she's really sensitive right now and I know sometimes my humor hurts her feeling "Should I Put the carrots in first or the Kid?" "Do I stir it up or do I just let him splash around and make the gravy" "Ooooo so that's where some of my elementary friends went!"
I almost Managed to avoid it but just as I'm about to pull him out, she pops in with the box, crosses the room and sprinkles some in. He looks at me confused. I shrug my shoulders and start to stir the water. He of course starts to splash around with great glee. Till he decided to taste it then he made faces at me
Trying to cut back on the smiley faces to look more ~mature~ ... is it working ?
Im Still struggeling with House of Leaves It just got really weird and my brain is having issues keeping up So I switched to I am Legend .... And it's about vampires !? THAT'S the huge secret?
Need to start the X-Mas shopping I'm determined to do it mostly online this year and save myself some time and money I've skipping buying my irl friends here I picked up the Tab at Dave & Busters on the trip and told them "This is to make up for all the birthday's I've missed and to Cover them and xmas for the next year or so" And I bought them all cards to go play games It was a pretty chunk of change but I had saved up for it
Going tomorrow to get the bit a costume after work Maybe going in the middle of the day on a Thursday we will avoid the worst of the crowds
