I was part of a team trying to contain and control a geyser, we met with constant failure against this very natural and potent force.
Closer study revealed it was venting rubbish which would have killed the lake surrounding it, performing an important environmental service. I also discovered that said ejected material was laden with gold and was worth a fortune.
Then of course some other enterprising fellow of African American heritage was making bank from catching it and selling it.
So double lose for me.
