(no subject)
Lest I totally forget to update for the month of October, a few notes:
1) APE was awesome. More of that, please. So positive and friendly and inspiring, I am now extra bummmed at the lack of Wondercon in SF next year.
2) Bolstered by APE being awesome I am applying for Stumptown 2012. There is also East Bay Alternative Press Book Fair in December, which is tiny but hopefully to be awesome!
3) I love fall.
4) I am hard at work on comics.
5) I fainted a week or two ago and got whiplash from fainting and I can't for the life of me think of how to turn this into an amusing comic. It should be. I mean seriously, who gives themselves whiplash BY FAINTING? Who does this? (Answer: this gal)
6) My house is infested with baby moths (? at least per google this seems to be the case) that can only be de-infested through finding them all, killing them all, and then maintaining a very clean house. Thus my time at home is now going to be a coin-toss between "do I draw NOW or do I vacuum first and THEN draw?"
7) I have almost cleared out the back lot where the rats live and it is super empowering. Rawr, physical activity!
8) Dr. Sketchy's continues to rock my world.
9) I learned how to use a waterpen with watercolor pencils, it also rocks my world.
