okay, so once upon a time, like when i was a sophomore in college, heather weppler had this boyfriend who came to my house in sd one time for something and put some music on my ipod. and i listened to it and loved it for a long time and then one day i synched my ipod to my itunes and, of course, deleted said music from my ipod and lost it forever. and i've been trying to think for the past 6 months or so of who the singer was that i deleted and i just figured it out after looking back through all my old lj posts from that year to see what music i listened to back in early 2005. so welcome back to my music library, pete yorn. you have been dearly missed.
yesterday was a holiday so cristóbal didn't have work and we decided to go to faunia for the day. a new manatee was born in july, so we went and watched the baby manatee eat lettuce from it's mommy. sooo cute.
also, two bits of news. someone asked me the other day if i would be interested in doing two hours a week of english conversation with a 30-year-old couple. so if everything works out, i could get paid just for chatting with two people for a couple hours a week. that's pretty sweet. also, my mom loved her bag and has been showing it to everyone in the world and she says that now her friends want to buy purses from me. so that's pretty sweet too. hopefully both of those things will work out soon.
