Mixed and Bittersweet.
Hello Journal,
School finished yesterday and thus summer has begun. I would usually be really happy for this. No more stresses that school brings, leizure time to do what I want, nice weather, etc. But I'm not. I'm leaving on Saturday and I won't be back for a long time (6 weeks to be exact). I should be really excited because I loved it so much last year, but things have changed.
I'm finally happy where I am. My friends are awesome and I am not really depressed anymore. I'm going to know people at Interlochen when I get there, but it will still be really hard to adjust back into that lifestyle. I just really don't want things to change between my friends and I now. Let's hope they don't.
I'm not as dedicated or enthusiastic about playing trombone as I was two months ago. This will be particularly difficult considering that's all I will be doing this summer. I'll miss technology. That sounds so lame to people here, but when you really get out in the woods with no TV, internet, or cell phone, it wears on you. I'll get used to it though.
