Dos dias que me enojan
Soooo, Yesterday, basically every county all around us canceled school. Nope, not Fairfax County. We can wait until a dangerous accumulation has already fallen! So going home at around noon yesterday, on the typically treacherous streets in Oakton i was driving very very slowly. I came around a corner and start to descend down a rather steep hill. UH OH! There were many cars just stopped at the bottom! No problem, right? I can just push my brakes and stop behind them, right? Wrong...as i attempted to brake, my car continued to slide. I had to make some quick decisions to avoid hitting other cars and getting them involved in this. So i tried turning into a driveway that i saw coming on my left. Oops, didn't quite make it, but i mauled their mailbox on the way through. And then i kept on rolling and hit a sign just a few feet away from it. AWESOME! THANKS FCPS! Now i have no driver's side side view mirror!
And what more? WE HAVE SCHOOL AGAIN TODAY, UNLIKE EVERY OTHER COUNTY AROUND!!!! Ugh i was really looking forward to not having this day. Why the hell is it raining in December anyways?
I think I couldn't have possibly been more unhappy this week. Everything just snowballing in school, I could not have possibly gotten worse teachers this year, i think i got every single bad one there is.
It's felt good to do an old-fashioned Livejournal rant again. I said i was shutting down my account but i never got around to it and my addiction is too strong.
