so me and a few friends saw the ring 2 at the discount theater a few days ago, an in the previews there was a comrcal for coke and in this comrcal where a bunch of scenes of a bunch of kids doing things like graffiti, dumpster diving, diy screen printing, rideing and building tallbikes, and rideing track bikes. i wanted to cry, i feel like the way i live my life is actually making an impact on society. i not only see jumping in a dumpster as a way to get food to eat but also as a statement, but when a union busting underpaying group of people advocate this statement i wonder if its all bullshit i wonder if we do this because it makes us cool. dose it make us fit in with all the other bike punk, anarcho punks in the world? do we do this because it makes us feel part of something, or will we die like the hippies and turn into our parents just like they turned into there parents?
