A Boring Dream Post

Last night I had this dream a Freudian would go nuts over.

My dad was riding his bike up this huge mountain in this race against some asshole. I remember it was someone I hated, but as soon as I woke up, I couldn't remember who. This mountain is really dangerous and steep with all these thin passes that my dad could fall off on. I was watching him (magically at various points). Suddenly we're in this gym and they have to ride their bikes on balance beams way up in the rafters. My dad fell off one of them and landed on these big pillow things they had set up on the ground. The boy I fancy (the one previously mentioned) was there and helping my dad get up and collect his bike, which had broken into pieces. So I decide that I have to finish my dad's race for him. I have a bike that I immediately take into the rafters, but the bike falls out from under me and I'm desperately gripping to the balance beam in the sky. The boy and my mom are down below, giving me instructions. My mom is saying, "Just scoot along to the end and we'll get your bike back up to you." But as I scoot, I can't keep my balance. My mom just keeps telling me to "scoot for Dad." The boy is saying, "I'll come up and get you! Just stay there!" But I tell him, "No, no, no. I can do this!" He said, "okay, but I'll stay under you and catch you if you fall!" And I say, "I'll break your arms!" (because it was really high up there!) At the end of the beam I slip and start to fall. The boy was distracted by helping my dad and when he sees that I'm falling he rushes to catch me, but doesn't get there in time. I land on the hard gym floor right on my back. Later, when we were all hanging out the boy says "how are you feeling" and I say "my back really hurts."

So...analyze that!
