I like your literature list quite a bit. I've been trying to get through the Japanese author's Kafka on the Shore, but keep getting distracted with comic books and psychology analysis. Weird.
I also enjoy what you did on your 21st birthday, haha. A nice change of pace from, "Oh, I got sooo plowed (crunked, plastered, choose your favorite descriptive adj here).
Have you gotten to the cat killer part in Kafka on the Shore? Murakami has this way of writing violence and really makes me ill. I love it! I also think The Wind-up Bird Chronicles is so awesome, have you read that one?
I'm trying to get into comic books. I feel like they're a valid art form that I've never really given enough attention to, so my friend Jason lent me some of his graphic novels. Right now I'm reading The Watchmen...seems pretty cool so far.
I don't know if it's very sad that I was disappointed in old high school kids. I mean, people have to move on, right? And I'd been sticking it out with those guys for a really long time. It's not that I dislike them or won't see them again (and be really happy when I do see them), but by distancing myself (or, rather, them distancing themselves from me) I've probably become a much better person.
