Okay. So I downlaod the "Mate, Feed, kill, Repeat" album/demo by slipknot. it is their very first cd, a demo. This was done with original members (no corey... etc.) HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!! This is like.... insane. The bassist is fucking incredable. Like... wow. HALF OF THE ALBUM IS FUNK!! Pure funk. Sometimes they go from really fast and heavy, then funk music. Even if you do not like slipknot, you will fucking like this. it sounds almost exactly like a Pantera trubute to Slipknot. It is rediculous. Bands like... bleeding through... is fucking so pussy compared to this album/demo. I am in awe... Most of the cd is originals of songs on Iowa and that other cd they had before that.... but they are really heavy versions. i wish i could remember who else isn't on this album. i believe Shawn is the main drummer. It is Hardcore/Funk/Tribal. I could go on for hours. You haven't heard anything until you have heard this.... wow. This sis eriously like one of my favorite albums. Too bad their is only 9 songs. The extra track (track 9 - dogfich rising) is funny. the beginning is the sound of shawn using power tools looped over and over. everyone switched intruments and they have 20 people passing the mic around and singing random shit. Supposed to be a nirvana parody... i don't get that logic... but whatever. Regardless of whether or not you like the band, download it. it practically isn't even slipknot... it like slayer on acid or something.
