I've been dropping my laundry off at the same place since I moved here a year and a half ago, and it's always the same stooped, haggard, old woman who waits on me. Well, yesterday I went in with a big bag of laundry to drop off, and found her wearing one of my t-shirts. To make it even more ridiculous, it was one of kittymalicious's band t-shirts.

Are you kidding? I'm too lazy to take my laundry somewhere else! This place is between the my apartment & the subway. It's for keeps.

Yes, I know about the laziness. The laundry I use provides no hot water. I suppose I could go to another (or at least do my own using a cold-water detergent) but they are directly underneath me, and as for doing my own....

That's lovely! So one that you never got back the last time you dropped things off? You think you will get it back this time and she just holds things over to put her scent on them for you (at no extra charge)? No confrontation I assume?

Yeah, I knew it was missing for some time now. She claimed it had been lying on the "found" shelf in the laundromat for almost a year, but I'd never seen it there. She said she'd wash it & return it - no confrontation.
