Christmas 2009
Christmas was okay. Really. The best gift I got was actually a stocking full of stocking stuffers from my good buddy iwantpie . I think she should go into a business or something. It was the best! *hugs*
Christmas Eve was full of drama on the part of my brother and sister in law (of course). Chris had to work all day, their car that they just paid off that Tuesday broke down on the way here. So dad had to go pick them up at the near by AutoZone which closed down 12 minutes before they got there and was 10 minutes from our house. I had to go with Chris to go meet the creepy trucker picker up guy, Chris had to drive in the truck with him and then go to the place to drop it off. I didn't have my purse and or wallet nor my phone. Fortunately I had Kristen's iPhone with me but still. IT was raining and the trucker guy drove like 70s mph down the curvy road...in the rain. So it was basically 8 pm before we got to eat our Christmas dinner.
Presents were small of course this year. KRisten gave me pj bottoms, a gift card (i'm so tired of those things), a makeup bag with initals (well an E cause she loves stuff with initatils so she has to give them to everyone. She's such a sorority girl) . They're all stuff that she likes (well decorated) polka dots and initials. Sigh. It's sad (but not really) when your friends can give you better gifts than your own family. But my friends know me better than my family because my friends don't yell at me or judge me. Okay well they might but they still won't get mad at me like family does.
Anyways on a high note UGA WON!!!!! WOOT! I love them. It was awesome. OKay so the first 27 minutes sucked but then in the last 1:11 21 points were scored before the half. 14 from GA and one of them a 81 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. 3rd from Boykin tied for an SEC record! woot!!
