Dream 002 ╬ 12/21/08
"Vamp... Are you gone? No... No - that bullet was meant for me..."
A dark-skinned woman sits crouched on the floor as she holds Vamp's corpse against her. There's a (still bleeding) bullet wound in his forehead and one through his stomach; the shot to his head had killed him instantly.
She speaks more but her words are fuzzy - garbled, impossible to make out. A familiar blond-haired man advances towards her with his gun drawn. The woman pays him no mind and just cradles Vamp's body. The man slowly backs off; keeping his eyes and gun on the pair as he steps into the elevator.
The woman attempts to stifle a sob, letting tears flow freely from her eyes.
"There is no need for sorrow, Queen."
Vamp's eyes come into focus, looking up at the one holding him. His Queen gasps, stroking her tears away from Vamp's cheek. A smile crosses his face as he gazes up at her; as if he's amused that she would shed tears over something as trivial as this.
"I died once already. I cannot die twice."
His Queen embraces him tightly and Vamp brings an arm up, returning her affections. He turns his head and kisses beside her mouth before lightly nuzzling against her. The wound in his forehead hasn't closed up yet but he feels no pain, even as the woman strokes his hair; her fingers moving to touch the gaping hole. Another almost smug smile crosses Vamp's face, reaching up to wipe the tears from the woman's eyes with a gloved hand.
"Come... We must not keep boss waiting."
His Queen smiles.

*The sound of Vamp's dog tags clattering together is heard before the video feed comes into focus. He's holding one of the tags up and he lightly kisses it*
Lady Luck is smiling today...
