'I took for granted you were with me'
Let's try this thing yet again shall we? Another lengthy hiatus that probably would allow you to assume that all sorts of interesting changes have occured... in reality though...
I have turned 30. I feel I've handled it well. In that I've neither chopped my hair and wardrobe in an attempt to 'grow up' or engaged in all sorts of piercings and fuck knows what else to prove to myself how young I still am. I'm pretty much the same - music, football, wrestling, books, fantasy, computer games etc.
There has been an amazing girl in my life the last while alright - a suitable (if barely deserved) reward for the attempts at getting back to my best that were in vogue in my last spate of entries here. I'm arguably batting out of my ball park with this one but, bless her, if she's happy enough to slum a little then who am I to stop her? It's all very serious and adult though with stuff like holidays together (just booked the guts of a week in Edinburgh yesterday for August) and NO drama whatsoever amongst the highlights. We're a pretty wonderful match to be totally fair. We met at just the right time in our respective lives and have crafted an awesome chapter together, hopefully there's many more to come.
My sister turns 21 tomorrow. So much for being the family baby eh? Crazy. Time flies. And now I am tired. And bedward bound. Hopefully a better entry will follow along!
