To truely say what my Girlfriend is like

For the first time
I didn't have to think about it
All I had to see
Was her getting ready
It was night
She was going to bar tend for a Saudi Prince
Only the most beautiful women are standard for the likes of him
But that isn't it

I saw her bare skin
covered only by undergarments that would still drive a warm blooded human mad
trying on dresses like a the carefree model who only models because it was something to do
making faces in the mirror as she twirled to the songs that came on
those songs
those faces
50's and 60's soul
silly but attracting faces
almost whispering your trapped
But that isn't it

After she found her dress
a dress I never thought could exist
a dress that only complimented perfection
she drew attention to her face
looking at what she could do to improve beautiful
(she only wears make up as a requirement)
she starts
starts with her lips
a once over her face
drawing warpaint with her make up
having fun with the idea
silly
perfect
focuses on her cheeks
those songs
those faces
focuses on her eyes
HER EYES
if ice could create fire
a contradiction that I only assume makes a rare beauty
not assume
know
brushing and teasing her hair
adding products that leave a teasing scent
how could anyone deny a magnificent sight
But that isn't it

The way she was satisfied
after a few quick looks
playing hide and seek with the mirror
Not even her reflection can catch her
How do you catch something so wild
something so lovely
so radiant
so angelic
but she turns to me
She says "I'm done"
straddles my lap
and reaches her lips to mine
this face
this song
before my heart will finally explode
I say "I don't want to ruin your make up"
what I mean is "How could I, of all the things on this earth, dare be allowed to kiss the most fascinating, exquisite, perfect thing?"
She says "I didn't finish doing my lips so I could kiss you!"
I cant keep my eyes off of her
I close them finally after all this time to kiss her
I cant help but reach for her hair
I stop
before I can say I'm sorry
She says "You can do whatever you want, this is more important than a job"
Our kiss and embrace
...
Our kiss
Our embrace
But that isn't it

Before She started her make up
After She found her outfit
She went to her perfume
In front of her favorite books, movies, music
those songs were playing right in front of her
a woman of wonder
She sprayed her perfume in the air
the air in front of her
and she danced
danced with the sprinkling water
an intoxicating water
intoxicating
the world changed at that moment
as she was spinning
twirling
jumping
with the tiny sleepy bubbles
My eyes grew wide
My heart stopped
I saw a fairy playing in the forest
in a forest only a fairy would know
and I felt as if I was witnessing something people only dream of
people write in books
like a tall tale you only romanticize because it means so much for a soul
the only song that made sense in the world played only for her

that is it
that is what she is like
Dancing with her perfume
a fairy in her own magic

and I am hers
that was never a question
and to my disbelief
...
She is mine
I whisper this
the power of those words
they have to the power to destroy
to create
to l...

but she tells me
She is mine

My fairy
who plays in her magic
and lets me see

That is what she is like
Up
