What's going on in Lebanon and Palestine is just ridiculous.
Israel is bombing the crap out of both of those areas and America is funding Israel with money and arms! HUNDREDS if not thousands of Lebanese and Palestinians have been mercilessly slaughtered, and the majority of those are civillians. People are crazy if they think that the US will ever call for a cease fire. This fighting is in America's interest. It's a great way for Israel to gain more power in the Middle East, and since Israel is pretty much completely funded by the USA, it increases America's power abroad as well.
Hezbollah is merely a by-product of the Palestinian and Lebanese suffering due to Israeli abuse. Israeli troops bomb and kill at least 10 Palestinian civillians a week, and it is NEVER NEVER NEVER reported on the US news. However, when the Palestinians respond and finally fight back by kidnapping an Israeli SOLDIER, NOT A CIVILLIAN, the Gaza is completely ravaged by Israeli bombs! All the Palestinians wanted was the release of 7 Palestinian women from Israeli jails and they were going to release the soldier they had kidnappped. Hezbollah bombed Israel because Israel bombs the crap out of Palestine every day and the US or any other country does nothing about it. Hezbollah is comprised of many Palestinians who have escaped from the Gaza strip and are fighting for their families who are still trapped in the Gaza.
Can you imagine being a Palestinian? They are trapped in the Gaza strip. They cannot leave. Israel does not allow those who live in the Gaza to leave at any time. There are no jobs, little food and water, and no way to improve the quality of living. Plus, Israeli tanks are on constant rampage throughout the area, and bombs rain down upon the refugee camps daily. Can you blame suicide bombers for doing what they do? When you have no access to tanks, guns or bombs as do the Israelis, the only way to fight back is through suicide bombs.
This is a humanitarian crisis. Come on America! Open up your eyes to the lies and deceit you are fed every day through your television sets. Go to any other non-American news website. Even the bbc reports a different story than does CNN or Fox News. Listen to NPR radio (101.9 FM in Detroit) or listen to NPR on the web. Listen to Democracy now. Here are some good websites all:
