(no subject)
I'm feeling like updating.
So my life has been pretty alright lately. All I ever do is study and go to work. I see Wasfeh when we study together or in class. We don't really go out and do stuff together anymore, besides getting dinner while studying.
Wasfeh got a really nice apartment two weeks ago. It's almost a brand new complex, so it's clean and safe. Plus it's only one block off of campus. My parents always joke about me moving in with him. That's not going to happen, but it's a nice place to study, and it's definetely more fun to cook than eating out every day. Plus, it's way quieter there than the crazy undergrad, science and engineering or med. school libraries.
Ramadan started on...Sunday I think, and I tried fasting with Wasfeh, because I just don't feel right eating and drinking in front of him when he can't have anything until 700 at night. I pretty much passed out at the Science and Engineering Library on Thursday. I was incoherent/passed out for a long time, and I woke up at Wasfeh's apartment three hours later with my mom and sister present. Needless to say, I don't try fasting anymore.
What else has been happening? Yesterday was the Homecoming football game and I saw lots of people I have been needing to see. It was great. I also ate at Don Pablos last night after the game, which was SO good.
I've been dispensing a lot of drugs lately (duh). I like my Pharm tech job. It's good times.
Well, I guess I'll clear the kitchen table and go upstairs to study Orgo Two all night. That class is a bia bia, but I have an exam on Monday. Tomorrow night I KNOW I'll be pulling an all nighter with Wasfeh studying. Yippee.
That said, I guess I'll end my entry with a little Rooney.
