Ok, now I'm doing that update.

So I guess I shoudl start where I left off. Monday night was work, and that was that.

Tuesday was class in the morning. Then Was and I went to his house and we looked at pictures of his family and of Syria. He looked a LOT different a year ago, but still absolutely adorable. He made me some Arabic tea (which actually turned out to be pretty good) and then we went to lunch at Mongolian BBQ. Then I went home and worked.

Wednesday was class and then lab. I tripped and fell too on my way to lab and ripped my pants (not to mention got a bloody knee). I'm alright, but the pants aren't. =( Anyways, after lab I went home and tanned. Then I gotted pretty and met up with Was in Dearborn. We went to that steakhouse again and eated. Then we had one of those long and serious talks that started out as an argument but ended wonderfully on the benches and at the fountain (so pretty) in front of the Henry Ford Centennial Library.

Thursday was a quiz and then a study session with Was and Al (who was being very loud and distracting, but at the same time hilarious). Then Was and I got lunch in Dearborn at his favorite Subway. Then I went home and went to work.

Friday was sleeping and housework and then work until 930. Then I drove out to Dearborn and sat at Was' house talking with his sister and him for a long time...like an hour and a half. Then we went to dinner at TGIF since it was the only thing open at 1230. While we were eating, I said to Was "Happy one month, by the by...well now since it's past midnight, our one month was technically yesterday, but you know....". Well, he pretended like he had no idea, and then when we got back in his car, he took me to this parking lot right by his house, and there on the ground was a beautiful boquet of red roses, and then another boquet of three glittery light pink, dark pink and yellow roses. Oh my gosh, I was so impressed! He actually got me something for our one month, and he must've spent a fortune on these because I have never seen such healthy, beautiful good-smelling flowers in my life. I guess he got them earlier in the day before I came over, but he left them in his bro's car and then called his bro and had him leave them in the parking lot. Well after that, we headed to his house again and watched Bruce Almighty and then I went home. What a crazy great night, and hopefully many more to come.

So, that brings me up to yesterday, which was a gross day. I woke up, did housework and such, and then exercised 'cuz I've gained like at least 5 lbs in the past weeks. Then, I went to work from 5-12, and then I came home. Yesterday was the day for seeing ex boyfriends/guys I dated. I saw Brett (of course) and then when I got off, Chris Slocum was at Meijer so we talked for a few minutes. Then, I saw Adam and Dallas right when I was getting off too. It was a weird night. When I got home, I did the hardest exercise routine I have with my buddy Leslie Samsone (Walk Away the Pounds Express Three Mile High Calorie burn) and did some text nessaging with Was. Then I went to bed at around 130.

Today I woke up at 8 and went to church at 9. After church I stood around talking with my grandma and my cousin and my aunt. Then I came home and did housework and sat around talking with my mom about things. Then I made a salad for lunch (I'm sticking to this weight loss thing) and then cleaned out my closet. It's about halfway finished, but I got rid of a lot of old pajamas and shoes and even a few shirts. Now, I'm going to exercise and then go to work until 1015. Then maybe I can meet up with Kyle later since I haven't seen him in forever.

I finally got offerred a job as a pharmacy technician in the Meijer pharmacy. That's right, Melissa is moving on up in the world. I wil now be considered a "professional" instead of a Meijer employee, and now I'm on the same level as my store managers and store director and also the head office people in Grand Rapids. However, I already accepted another job from my neighbor to help her take care of her daughter. But, opportunity knocked and I had to answer. I'll be making at least $8 an hour with no union dues taken out, and I'll be getting much betetr shifts (the pharmacy closes at 9 pm Mon-Fri and 6 on Saturdays and 5 on Sundays. Pharmacy is what I want to do with my life, and this job will get me waaaaaay ahead of my peers in Pharmacy school, so there was no way I could turn it down. Sweet!

Anyways, I'm gonna go exercise and then get ready for work. Have great days everyone!
