Hi all. It's been a while since I've updated, eh? I guess when I'm busy and doing stuff I don't have time to update.
So Monday was fine. I went to work and was home around4. Then I did Organic Chem and kept on studying until prolly like 12. I spent my night on the phone too, 'cuz that's how I seem to spend many of my nights these days.
Tuesday was the big ol' Orgo test. First, I went to the study session beforehand and then I took the test in the lecture hall. After the test, I waited for Wasfeh and we talked a little bit about the test. Then I met Julie for lunch at the Olympic Grill (I think that's what it's called) across from the Welcome Center. My pita was definitely awesome and Julie was so nice and super pretty. =) I <3 Wayne State University. The coolest people go there. So, after lunch, I drove home and laid out in the sun for a few hours. Then I decided to start on my two lab reports so I worked on them for a bit. I almost went to Brett's to watch the Pistons game, but I decided to stay home and work on my stuff. I made dinner with my mom per usual and watched the game while doing my lab reports. Then I talked on the phone with Wasfeh 'til like 130 in the morning about the silly lab reports.
Wednesday, I woke up and went to class. After class, Wasfeh and I finished our lab reports together in the Chem lounge and then we went to lab. We worked together on our lab and finished at like 130 instead of at 315. Then, we went to the library and messed around on the computers for like an hour. He had me laughing so hard that I was crying. I showed him my photobucket account and my facebook account and he made fun of me! Then, he insisted on driving me to my car from where his car was parked, which is seriously a ten second walk. We ended up driving around Detroit for half an hour and then he finally dropped me off at my car. On the drive home, I picked up my grandma from her house and went and bought a Chauncey Billups jersey for my dad's birthday. When I got home, I cooked out steak, ribs, kielbasa, hot dogs and chicken for my dad 'cuz he loves meat. My mom made a ton of other food too and the rest of my family came over and we celebrated my dad's b-day. After dinner, I called Wasfeh and headed down to Dearborn to meet up with him. The night started out really bad when some guy at a gas station totally came on to me trying to get my number and calling me beautiful and stuff right in front of Wasfeh. But, Wasfew told him who was boss and then we got out of there. We went to Dairy Queen and he bought me this HUGE Blizzard...Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. We ended up at some park and we went on a walk. It was nice and quiet and we watched some ducks swim in a river. We went on the swings too and played on the playground, and as Wasfew said, it felt like a movie scene. I felt like an 8 year old again, innocent and carefree. It was a good feeling.
Wasfeh asked me to be his girlfriend last night, on the playground. I was totally taken aback and not expecting it. He's so funny and smart and good looking that I never thought he could REALLY like me. I had to turn him down though, because I don't know him well enough. You guys know me, I like to know my boyfriends insdie out and backwards before I date them. Otherwise, you get hurt. But I told him that I think he's sweet, smart, funny, freakin' gorgeous and I made it clear that I DO like him and want to get to know him really well first. So he flashed me a winning smile and asked "So...maybe later?" and I smiled back and replied with "Yeah, maybe later", so I hope everything goes over ok. It's not that I don't like him, but I barely know him...and I'm not loooking to rush into a relationship and then get dumped, played or hurt, although he did ask me to be his girlfriend, which means he wants some kind of committment and that he must honestly like me. Plus, he's said on more than one occassion that long-term relationships are more his type. But I don't know if I want that right now. Oh well, I guess we'll see how things go. All I know is that I'm happy and that he's a great person to be around.
So after the playground, we went to the Fairlane Center and saw The Longest Yard. We thought it would be just ok, but the movie was really good. I was impressed, and Wasfeh's good company. ;) Then he dropped me off at my car and followed me on the expressway for a little way to make sure I'd get home safe. Overall, an awesome night.
Today I woke up late (considering I walked in the door last night at two A.M. ) but still somehow made it to my quiz section only fifteen minutes late. I walked slow too 'cuz I wore a cute skirt and flippy floppy shoes. Oh well, I knew there wasn't a quiz in there today so only half the people showed up anyways. I got my test back in class today, and I got an 87 on it. I'm ok with that, considering an 88 was an A-, so I got the highest B+ possible. I'm not super thrilled, but I'm far from complaining, considering the average was a 73 I think. I'm happy. Then, I headed to my Orgo lecture, and Wasfew didn't show up. =( I was sad, and all of friends came up to me and were like "Where's Wasfeh!!!". I guess his friends must all know that we hang out. I don't know if they ever found out where he was, but I'll prolly call him tonight and see what's up. Then, I headed home and ate some lunch. I picked Jessica up from school too. Now I'm just sitting here. I have work tonight from 545-945. I was thinking about finding someone to hang out with, but I've been up late every night for like a week now, so I think I'm gonna just head home and go to bed. Tomorrow I have nothing going on until 5 when I go to work until 10. I'm thinkin' I'm gonna go lay out y'all. Have a good day.
