An eventfull two days for The Tim. Yesterday nothing really happened at school, but after school we left for jazz band districts. I guess the band is pretty spoiled by taking charter busses, because cramming all of that equipment on the cheese wagon on riding in those seats for a little over an hour was annoying. We got there and listened to a few bands, then ate the crappy food they were serving at the crapeteria. We warmed up in a cool drama room with a bunch of old school movie posters. The actual performance went very well. The judges and audience loved it. For some reason we stayed to watch Vero's crappy band play. Not that they sounded bad, but there style was horrendous. Anyway, the trip back was fun, with Thommy, Matt, me, Andrew, Chris, and a few other people singing random songs. We also spent a lot of time insulting other bands (QUEERO!)(BOO GAYLIE!) and other dumb stuff. We got back to Sebastian around 11:00. My bad luck struck when I couldn't find my keys and had to call Jill to bring an extra set. I woke up this morning and left for Stuart at 8:30. We got there, warmed up, and played the chamber wids pieces we've all grown to dislike. We played the stuff fine, but I think we're all tired of the music, so we don't play it as lively. I played my piano solo on the crappy out of tune piano that they provided. I figured they would at least have one decent piano for the people who were doing piano solos. Whatever, the solo worked out fine, even though I cringed whenever I played in the lower register of the piano. I ate lunch at the cafeteria again, and hung out with Andrew and Corey for a bit. We encountered some weird awkaward kids you can only find at band functions. Good times. After that we went to the judges room and Jade, Andrew and I played our solos, and all got superior ratings. I, of course, wasn't happy with how I played, but I never am. We got home around 4:30, and I collapsed into bed. I woke up at 6:30, and we left to go to a New Orlene's jazz concert in Vero. It was amazing. That kind of music makes me happy :). Anyway, that's pretty much all that happend in the past two days.
