(no subject)
Well, I got to my place yesterday evening after an arduous trek down here in an incredibly cramped car and was most displeased to find that one of my roomates is terrifyingly like Tutak. The place smelled like ass and there was shit all over the place. I was quite bummed about this, particularly so because I had only had about 6 hours of sleep for the entire two days previous. When I met the aforementioned man, who is called Isaac, my mind was put at ease because the schlup is set to move out in a month and a half. My other roomate is a man from China named Liu (pronouced Lou) who is currently trying to complete a graduate program in only one year and in doing so is hardly ever present at the apartment. Luckily for me my room does not smell at all because I have spent the entire day in it today just relaxing and putting things in order. I think I like it. I am going to go out exploring tomorrow morning and to the local grocer so I don't have to eat granola bars and tortilla chips as actual entrees. Should be an adventure. It's very hot here though. It was 94 yesterday. There was some loud heat lightning today (obviously the lightning itself was not the loud part). Anyway, just thought you'd like to have an update, although that's probably just wishful thinking. Take care of yourselves now, would ya?
