A very odd day today.....
Made homemade pita chips...some very spicy...some spicy, some will set your mouth on fire.
Made a kick ass chili...unfortunately, it kicked mine after just three bites. I can eat all the ingredients I put in it, just not together with THAT much chili powder and cayenne. Bummer...it rocked...just not by the bowlful.
Got a problem with the cable company. They are insane if they think I'm paying a $500 bill for things they say are missing when we never had them in the first place. I dn't want to have to deal with this shit on Monday morning either. There have been several company repair ppl here fixing their piece of shit equipment over hte four years we've lived here. For all I know one of them is to blame. I had company the day htey came and couldn't be on two floors at once. $500...kiss my ass commercial giant buttlick.
Said goodbye to stan tonight. He has some serious issues and I'm tired of waiting. I'm even MORE tired of being hurt.
I don't think my stomach is nearly healed enough as it needs to be to handle the kind of hot (can we say VINDALOO?) kinds of spices I love to eat. Not to mention I can't have pepperoncini for ages. :(
I sent my resume to a local employer today in the hopes of shortening my commute from an hour plus to maybe 20 minutes in traffic. That would be nice. Be better if I can manage to retain my present salary.
Tomorrow I'm trying tuna with thai flavorings. (ok they're called spicces...I'm just hoping it won't do me in). Hmmm...we'll see how I do on the forced bland diet. Ugh..gagme...Speaking of whom, I can't believe he didn't totall suck the other night.
The Red Sox are the nations team now according to the news. :D Niiiiiiiiiice.
I've been shopping WAY too much lately. Treating myself quite well, but affordability will be a bitch. :) Nothing like a good challenge, eh??
Have a dentist appointment monday afternoon. It won't be fun. But it IS necessary.
