Amazement
Malary and Chucks's wedding was this past Sunday. It was fucking amazing. We all agree ((we being me and the rest of Mal's friends + all of Chuck's friends)) that it should be a reccuring thing. Mal and chuck need to get married at least once a year so we all have a reason to get together and party.
Malary looked amazing. I mean, this is the girl who doesn't do more than throw her hair into a pony every day, a half pony if she feels like being different. Her hair was half up and half down, but the lower part was curled and looked amazing, her dress was stunning also. It came out amazing. The funniest part was during a part of the pre-wedding festivities/coctail hour called the bedeking. Thats the first time a groom sees his bride, he comes in to check it is his bride and put he veil over her face. Comes from when Jacob married Leah instead of Rachel because his uncle tricked him ((Hooray for jewish customs)). But yeah, Chuck's eyes bugged out, jaw dropped and all that. Plus, you know you look good when your husband's gay brother tells you you look amazing.
Wedding was fun, got to meet Alexa and Steoh finally. Steph I met once before, but we didn't really talk. Met up with a couple of old friends from middle school that I havn't seen since I left Shalom Torah. Me and this kid Moss ((Yes, Moss. His moms a hippy)) got to talking again, rekindled our friendship. All in all a fun weekend.
Looking foward to next saturday night. It is the last Sheva Bracha ((Another jewish custom)) and it's also Purim, so everyone is gonna be in costume. I figure I'll go the easy route and wear garb. heh.
