Oh my god it is almost the end of the year and I haven't revised shit from the previous semester and prepared for the new one. Well....finally met up with Carol and her sister. And on that fateful day.....Charlene Dragged us to Haji Lane. It is quite trendy with many small boutiques and the price range is also VERY NICE!!! [please note the use of heavy sarcasm ;)] Too bad that Carol and her sister had to leave early. After that me and Charlene trooped through Bugis Village in search for her scarf.
Before that I went to the cosfest at the expo and met up with Ahsie. We talked about the whole festival. Seems like it is going to be the last one. The organizing committee gets shit and flak from all sides and they have decided to stop hosting the festival. Oh well, the cosplayers are also a bit too...hmm...how should I put it...unrealistic(pardon the pun) for my taste. They seem to pander more to their own idea for how a character looks like than to stick closely to the original which is quite a shame as many people (I hope) go to such festivals to see their favourite character brought to life as it were but sadly not many were ones which I liked to look at. Caught up Ashie and Yun at the fest and Yun became my pimp :) Hopefully I will be able to grab the picture from some where. It was nice to catch up with Ashie and talk about our life. She seem to need a listening ear and I was glad to help. Hope that she can follow her dreams and not regret her decisions.
Anyway back to Charlene, at least she is leaving for Europe, I'm stuck in Singapore. I think the main reason being that I'm shifting house soon. Sob Sob Sob. Argh........ I hate to stay in Singapore. Feel like I'm trapped in a cage that saps the energy from me. The rat race in Singapore wears me out. Bleah......that's the mood that I'm always in nowadays. Or in a more Singaporean expression it would be SIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
