back after ?almost 3? years
I have been thinking about folks who I only see/saw here, and how I had let this world drop away for quite a while. That had its place, but today I wanted to see what was going on here. (My sister just got a puppy and started blogging, and it made me think, "Hey, I was once a blogger... What happened to that?"
Since the last post:
1 I've bought a crack-house, done lots to fix it up and moved in.
2 I've entered depths of complication and crazy I had not yet imagined in Sept 2007 with the same partner, including having spent most of the intervening time apart.
3 As a side effect of 2 and my choices, I've travelled 5 times to Colombia and seen and done all sorts of things there.
4 I've kept working as a midwife and developing our Aboriginally-focused midwifery practice - lots of learning.
5 I've been pregnant, and now am expecting a baby in a couple more months.
So I'm curious to see who's still around here, and also whether this might be a space to spend more time in as a mom.
