Voting for King and Queen of the military ball happened yesterday... And I had a good number of people tell me that they voted for me and nearly everyone else they knew did. Greeeeeat. Just what I didn't want. I never wanted to win this thing, not really, and Shelly did. Now I'm going to win and she's going to be upset because /she/ was supposed to be Queen this year. Only senior girls can go out for it and she was going to be the only senior girl, so this was her year, but I came along and messed everything up. If only I had been able to say no to Col! Then again, if I hadn't run everyone would have voted the Creepy-Senior guy to be King... which would have been humiliating for her. It's just crappy.... and now I have to buy a dress... and I'm stuck going stag. Joy.
I've also enaged myself in a war with some kid in BCIS. He eats at my computer (Cookie never stops him, God knows why)and when I come in in the morning there are ants where ever the crumbs he so nicely left behind are, which happens to be just about everywhere. So I typed up a request, with please and thank you even, for him to please stop eating there. He wrote back a rude little note (Cookie thought he was joking, if he was... well, I don't give a rat's ass) saying that I should say it to his face and he wasn't going to stop. The fact that I had complained over several days to Cookie about the left-over food and ants, but she didn't once seem to care ticked me off slightly. But when she stood up for the jerk and said that I was bascally being too serious really ticked me off. So, I've decided to go in before her BCIS class and TP his chair... and possibly smush some bananas on the desk, too. Since Cookie believe that he was joking I'll convince her that it's just a little practical joke between kids. Heh heh heh...
I'll leave the rest of my yearbook ranting for another day, and believe me I have more stuff to rant about.
Kris/Tom is spending the night tomorrow, her folks are going out of town and want her to stay at a friend's. Which suits me just fine, I've been wanting to show her first season BSG. Speaking of BSG, spoiler time!
SG1: We learned more about the New-Guy (I won't call him by name until he's been on for more than on season), but there wasn't enough team-time. That's something that's kind of missing in this new SG1. In old-school-SG1 the eps would focus on one character, but they would interact a lot more with the rest of the team and I miss that.
SGA: Reminded me of that one SG1 ep where Jack gets stuck on a planet with that annoying-lady. Shep really does have a thing about Ancient women. McKay is surprisingly getting less annoying now, at least for me. I miss Ford and his constant bounsy... But Kaveman is entertaining, in his own way. Poor Carson, McKay keeps dragging him around and saying mean things to him...'course he does that to everyone.
BSG: Oh my fracking Gods this show is good! I so ship Laura/Bill (not Billy, he is Dee's), but poor Adama, he's going to be all alone when she goes. I'll admit it, I cried when they kissed. And I knew Six was gonna get Crazy-Adml, I just didn't know how. As hot as almost-nekkid crumpet is the drowning/breathing sceens made me want to cry. I get the feeling of it. And then there's Thrace, she still loves her Commander, but she doesn't always love his plans. And now she has to deal with a very depressed brother, or (dream) lover (which ever you want to go with) which can't be easy for her. As awful as these characters have it, I have to say that I love this show.
