Natasha on gay marriage

so yesterday I was all excitedly sharing the news with jeff that the vermont legislature ahd over ridden the governors veto of gay marrriage. Natasha asked some questions and then asked, what about here? and I explained we were waiting for a court to make a decision, and then I told her, "you know, by the time you are a grown up, I think you'll probably be able to marry someone of your same gender or sex anywhere in the country!"

And she got a stormy look on her face and she said, "I'll do it anyway, wether it's the law or not."

that's my kid! don't let stupid laws stop you from doing what's right!
