Some huge picspam this time. Its theme isn't really original :> It's dedicated to one of the best tv characters ever - Juliet Burke.

Putting them in order was damn hard, but I guess, that at the moment, that is, how my order looks like :) Enjoy!

10. A new HBIC is in the town - A Tale of Two Cities

JACK: Which way out?
JULIET: Don't do this, Jack. Don't. Don't.
JACK: Open the door.
JULIET: No. I can't. I can't, Jack. I do that - we die.
JACK: You're lying.
JULIET: I'm not. I'm not.
JACK: Open the door!!
JULIET: I can't! I swear I can't!!
BEN: She's telling the truth, Jack.

JACK: I swear to god, I will kill her.
BEN: Okay. Have her open the door and she dies anyway. We all do.
JULIET: Jack, over here!

JULIET: The button! The yellow button, the button!!

Why do I like it so much?
Because it shows, that Juliet is a real HBIC. The part, where she knocks Jack unconscious proves, that she never looses her head and is always ready to react. Of course after that, she draws him out of the water, which is also a great thing about her. Plus, I love the moment, when Ben says "Okay" to Jack threat about killing Juliet - she gives Ben a very significant look, she's surprised, disappointed in a way, probably because she thought, that she means something to him and yet he came out to be a cold and heartless.

9. I'm not a leader. I'm a mess - Not in Portland

RICHARD: Thank you for taking the time to let us make our pitch, Dr. Burke. Mittelos Bioscience is based in Oregon. We're just outside of Portland. Uh, these shots might seem a little cheese-ball, but our people really are this happy. Now why? Because we're privately funded. Privately funded means freedom. We organize trips every week in and around the Portland area which is just awesome for hiking and biking and river running.
JULIET: Look, when you - your company - reached out to me I was flattered. But I don't really know why you would want me.
RICHARD: Is it true that you successfully impregnated a male field mouse?
JULIET: He didn't carry to term.

RICHARD: Mind if I ask you something?
JULIET: Sure.
RICHARD: What do you see?
JULIET: Well, that's a human womb, obviously. Judging from the decomposition of the endometrium I would say that the woman was somewhere in her seventies.
RICHARD: Well, actually, she's 26.
JULIET: What happened to her?
RICHARD: What if I told you that you could have complete freedom and money to find out? We think you're special, Dr. Burke. And we want you to lead a team of highly trained people because we think you're just that good.
JULIET: I can't.
RICHARD: Why can't you?
JULIET: My ex-husband wouldn't let me. I...
RICHARD: He wouldn't want you to have this opportunity?
JULIET: No, he doesn't want me to have anything. He would never give the okay. It's...

RICHARD: Maybe we could reach out to him on your behalf?
JULIET: Don't bother.
RICHARD: There must be something that he would respond to.
JULIET: If he were hit by a bus. How about that? That would work. How totally inappropriate.
RICHARD: No, no, no.
JULIET: No, I, uh -- I'm sorry, but I've wasted your time.
RICHARD: Dr. Burke, please -- no, you don't...
JULIET: No, I'm sorry. Whatever you think I am, I'm not. I'm not a leader, Mr. Alpert. I'm a mess.

Why do I like it so much?
Because Juliet is so vulnerable and fragile in here. It just breaks my heart to see her being so devastated by her husband. I love, how Elizabeth Mitchell is able to show all those emotions tormenting her - she's so real in what she act. Plus, Juliet is so unbelievably beautiful and cute in this scene :)

8. You're mine! - The Other Woman

BEN: After our last raid on the tail section survivors, they ran off, left the beach. I sent Pickett and Tom to track their location, and they came across this. I'm sorry, Juliet.
JULIET: Sorry about what? Oh, my God! Oh, my God! Oh, my God. Goodwin. What happened?
BEN: We don't know. There weren't any witnesses. I can only assume they found out he wasn't one of them. Guess I should've listened to you.
JULIET: Why are you showing me this? Why did you bring me out here?
BEN: What, you mean instead of his wife?

JULIET: You knew this would happen. You sent him out here because you knew this would happen. You wanted this! You wanted him to die! Why?
BEN: Why? You're asking me why? After everything I did to get you here, after everything I've done to keep you here, how can you possibly not understand... that you're mine?
BEN: Take as much time as you need.

Why do I like it so much?
Because it throws some light on relation between Ben and Juliet, which is so weird, complex and scary, it's hard to not get fascinated by it. It gives me chills everytime, when Ben yells to Juliet: "You're mine!". God, he's a real psycho :>

7. A stockholm syndrome - Stranger in a Strange Land

JULIET: I heard you only liked them grilled.
JACK: I miss the toothpicks, too.

JACK: Let me see.
JULIET: Jack...
JACK: They marked you? Let me see it?
JACK: Break a branch off that aloe plant over there...
JULIET: It's okay, Jack.
JACK: Please, please do it.

JACK: Turn around.
JULIET: Why did you help me?
JACK: He told you he was going to let you go home. He told me the same thing. We're going to make sure he keeps his word.
JULIET: And how are we going to do that?
JACK: Together.
JULIET: They'll be coming for you in a few minutes. All of them. Your friends know where we are so we have to leave this island to go back to where live.
JACK: Go where?
JULIET: Well, Ben calls it home.

Why do I like it so much?
Well, there are so many things that are really likeable in this scene ;) I guess, it's a first official moment, when we can see, that Jack cares about Jules. He's so concerned, when she approaches to his cage. And after seing her mark, it's obvious, how guilty he feels about it. And there's this full of a tension moment, when their fingers meet on her stomach. It's completely accidental, but at the same time looks so intentional and meaningful. The last thing is a moment, when Jack says to Juliet, that they make sure Ben will keep his word together. It's beautiful and seing, how much it touches her, makes me realize, that she was feeling so terrible alone for a really long time, and that's why hearing someone saying, that she is a part of some "together" is such a big thing for her.

6. Can't you please just let me go home? - One of Us

BEN: Hi.
JULIET: Can I come in?
BEN: Of course. I was just finishing Carrie. I still don't know why you picked it, but boy is it depressing.
JULIET: You have a tumor.
BEN: What?
JULIET: When you told me about your back pain, I said that I would take some X-rays to see if it was a small fracture or a herniated disc. But that's not your problem. Your problem is a large tumor surrounding your L-4 vertebrae. You're surprised.
BEN: Well you just told me I have cancer, Juliet, of course I'm surprised.
JULIET: No I told you that you had a tumor.

JULIET: Why are you scared?
BEN: I'm not scared.
JULIET: Why are you scared, Ben? You said no-one on this Island ever had cancer, you told me that.
BEN: I know what I told you, Jul...
JULIET: You told me you could fix it. You said that, you said that you cured my sister, you lied to me.
BEN: No I did not lie to you!
JULIET: If you can cure cancer Ben then why do you have it?
BEN: I dunno!
JULIET: I wanna talk to her. I wanna talk to Rachel, I wanna talk to her, now!
BEN: It's not going to happen Juliet, but I can promise you that Rachel is fine.

JULIET: You, never cured her!
BEN: I did!
JULIET: You're a liar!
BEN: No Juliet...
JULIET: YOU LIED TO ME!!!
BEN: I told you the truth!
BEN: I gave you my word.
JULIET: I know. I wanna go home. I wanna go home, Ben, please. Can't you please just let me go home?
BEN: No.

Why do I like it so much?
Because Juliet simply knocks me off my feat in this one. This scene is so shocking, full of tension and bare emotions, that Juliet finally releases. It's amazing, firstly, how she knocks out of Ben's hand a glass of water, and than yells at him so madly. And the moment, when she starts to cry and leans on a counter! Poor, sweet Juliet - she's the most beautiful and tragic character...

5. How to kick Sawyer's and Sayid's asses - short teaching film by Juliet Burke - One of Us

SAYID: Step away from the case!
JULIET: Listen to me, Sayid.
SAYID: Step back.
JULIET: It's full of medical supplies. They're for Claire. Jack knows all about it.
SAWYER: Jack ain't here right now is he?
JULIET: I'm telling you the truth.
SAYID: You said earlier if you told me everything you knew, I'd kill you. I'm going to test the validity of that statement.
SAWYER: He means talk.
JULIET: We don't have time for this.
SAWYER: We cleared our schedules. We got all the time in the world.

JULIET: You know its interesting, that you two are now the camp's moral police. I'm curious, Sayid, how long was it before you told everyone on that beach exactly how many people you've tortured in your life. Do they know about Basra? And I'm sure the first thing you did when you got here, James, was to gather everyone in a circle, and tell them about the man you shot in cold blood the night before you got on the plane. So why don't we just skip the part where you two pretend to be righteous. I'm taking that medication back to Claire. And you're gonna let me. Because if she doesn't get it, she's gonna die. And the last thing, that either of you need right now, is more blood on your hands.

Why do I like it so much?
Is it necessary to explain this? :) She totally kicks their asses! They aren't even able to say anything back to her - she is that good. She exactly know, how to use the knowledge about them, that she had. She is so powerful and self-confident, she looks them straight in the eyes and it is brilliant. I mean, if she is able to manage with guys like Sawyer or Sayid, she is able to do everything.

4. So you screwing Jack yet? - Through the Looking Glass

SAWYER: So, when you pulled us out of those polar bear cages and put us on the chain gang, what the hell you have us breaking all those rocks for anyway?
JULIET: We were building a runway.
SAWYER: Runway, for what?
JULIET: The aliens.
JULIET: I don't know what for, do you think they told me everything?
SAWYER: Yeah yeah, whatever you say. So you screwing Jack yet?
JULIET: No. Are you?

SAWYER: How far away are these guns.
JULIET: There aren't any guns.
SAWYER: What?
JULIET: I lied.
SAWYER: You lied?
JULIET: It was the only way he'd let us go back.
SAWYER: So why are you going back?
JULIET: Karma. Why are you going back, James?

Why do I like it so much?
I'm 100% sure there's no one, who wouldn't like that scene. A runway for aliens plus screwing Jack are one of the best Lost quotes ever. It shows, not for the first time of course, how awesome sense of humour Juliet has. I love how great she is with Saywer in a moments like this one.

3. All right. Two weeks - LaFleur

SAWYER: I bought us two weeks. Horace said we can wait for the next sub. Any luck, Locke'll be back by then.
JULIET: And then what?
SAWYER: What do you mean, "Then what"?
JULIET: Locke said he was leaving to save us. The flashes have stopped. They're over. No more bloody noses. We're already saved. That sub behind you brought me here. I've been trying to get off of this island for more than three years, and now I've got my chance.

JULIET: I'm going to leave.
SAWYER: You do realize it's 1974, that whatever it is you think you're going back to... it don't exist yet.
JULIET: It's not a reason not to go.
SAWYER: Well, what about me? You really gonna leave me here with the mad scientist and Mr. "I Speak to Dead People"? And Jin, who's a hell of a nice guy but not exactly the greatest conversationalist.
JULIET: You'll be fine.
SAWYER: Maybe... but who's gonna get my back?

SAWYER: Come on. Just give me two weeks, that's all I'm asking. Two weeks.
JULIET: All right. Two weeks.

Why do I like it so much?
Because it is the sweetest scene ever! The chemistry between Juliet and James is so cute and obvious. The way, she laughs at his jokes about Miles or Jin, is completely adorable. And the way she looked at him after he said "but who's gonna get my back?" made me realize for the first time, how incredible great they can be together. And I wasn't wrong about it :)

2. I love you James. I love you so much - The Incident

SAWYER: Where do you think you're going, Blondie?
SAWYER: Kate! Help me get those chains off!
SAWYER: Hold on! You hold on!

JULIET: I can't. I can't get it off.
SAWYER: I got you.
KATE: I can't reach her.
SAWYER: You hold on! No! I got you.
KATE: Sawyer!
SAWYER: Don't you leave me.

JULIET: It's okay.
SAWYER: Don't you leave me!
JULIET: I love you.
SAWYER: No, you don't let go!
JULIET: I love you, James.
SAWYER: Don't let go.
JULIET: I love you so much.
SAWYER: No! No, don't let go!
SAWYER: Juliet! No!

Why do I like it so much?
Okay, I admit - this one is way too masochistic, but still I've seen this scene so many times, I've memorized every second of it. What I love the most in here is the fact, that this scene is so incredible moving. Is there anybody, who didn't cried like a baby, while watching it for the first time? It's definitely the most powerful and crushing Lost scene in a history of this show. I remember that in some ff I've read, its author took notice, that Juliet's last words to James were about love. And that's what also makes me think about this scene as one of my favourites - after watching it, you just can't doubt, that they REALLY loved each other. And since after Comic Con, we know for sure, that it isn't the last Juliet scene in the show, watching it isn't THAT much depressing.

1. And he knows how I feel about you - The Other Woman

JACK: You okay?
JULIET: He wanted me to kill them. Ben. He told me to kill both of them.
JACK: How can he tell you anything?

JULIET: I don't know, but he knew how to get to me, and he knew where they were going and what they were doing. Don't you understand? These people came here to wage war against Ben, and Ben's gonna win, Jack. And when he does, you don't want to be anywhere near me.
JACK: Why not?
JULIET: Because he thinks that I'm his. And he knows how I feel about you.

JACK: He knows where to find me.

Why do I like it so much?
It was a really hard time to chose between this one and the The Incident scene. But I chose this one, because that's the scene I like to return to the most often. Jack&Juliet relationship was my first Lost OTP and I was so thrilled seeing that scene. What I also love in here, is that it shows the thing I always valued in Juliet's character - the fact that she's so honest with her feelings. She wasn't afraid to admit to Jack, that she had feelings for him - she looked him straight in the eyes and just said it. It was so mature. And I felt so happy for her after Jack kissed her, because she could believe (only for a moment, unfortunately), that she's not alone anymore, that Jack is with her and he will stay with her, even though Ben is ready to kill everyone, who will try to take Juliet away from him. Such a comforting scene!
