LOL, I feel very important now that I know I'm the only person you asked first :D:P
Definitely give a shot with House! :) The show is great but doesn't require huge emotional investment (like Lost) so it's a good show to watch when you just want to relax and have a nice time :) But I totally get what you mean with the constant lack of time - I have similar problem, though I still haven't learn to do first the important things like work, studies, etc. and then have a fun time with tv shows or LJ ;) I should really work on that because the arrears I'm making are just huge so it usually ends up with cutting down my sleep time, which isn't the best solution in the world :P
Ohh, I love all musicals, the old ones, the new ones... There is something magic in the concept of the world where everybody hears music, where it is possible and pretty much normal that one minute you're waiting for your bus to arrive, and the next one you're taking part in a joyful singing/dancing scene in the street :) Basically I can't imagine life without music - I'm not any kind of musician myself but I need to be surrounded with music in almost every minute ;) So that's what it is all about with me and musicals.
To be honest I'm actually a little obsessed with MM ;) I adore this woman, not only as an actress but as a person. Story of her life is fascinating. It's just so amazing that a woman who was the greatest star, whom everybody loved and wished to become her, was so incredibly broken and damaged. I guess I have some quite weird weakness for tragic people ;) And yeah, Misfits is brilliant!
Adina rocks! I admire her talent so much! She's totally my #1 when it comes to icons :)
If you want to know anything, feel free to ask I'll remember about that, that's for sure :) I'm really happy we're friends now because I can feel that I'm going to like discussing with you :) Oh, just so you know (because I forewarn about this all of my LJ-friends ;)) - english is not my first language and in the real life I barely use it, so it's possible that I'll be making some silly grammar errors in my posts so I hope you'll be understanding for me ;)
One day I will.... but really? I thought it would be lots of angst and emotional upheavals from time to time? One has to sleep, alas - but it's hard to leave LJ or not watch something, I agree.
Something else in common then :-) Brigadoon and Seven Brides for Seven Brother are two of my favs and I adore Umbrellas of Cherbourg.
MM to me means Mary McDonnell - but in regards to Marilyn, indeed a fascinating woman.
Awww, I'm happy you are happy. I think despite our lack of fandoms, what made me bite the bullet and ask you was because from your public posts and from 'seeing you' around some comms I lurk at when I have time, I knew I would like you a lot - I think sometimes you get a feel for people which is sort of odd I guess, but I've never been proved wrong yet :-) As for your English, it seems perfect to me, and as always I am astounded by how good everyone but the lazy English are at other languages. I do try when in other countries to learn at least a little though, and I guess Spanish is what I am best at since I went there so much with my parents as a child and when in my early teens.
