Lol, but it's such a huge progress for me! I really think that someday I will be able to like her. I just have to try really, really hard and I'm positively sure I can do this. So there's a little hate in here of course, but also a great hope for the future filled with sympathy, or at least tolerance. That's sounds a little better, right? ;)

Yeah, this "Jack and Kate are soulmates" thing helped me with becoming more understanding and less hating for Kate. I guess what used to piss me off the most was the triangle-plot and the fact that she couldn't just make up her mind. Remember the scene where she saw Jack and Juliet having a dinner together and immediately run to Sawyer's tent and jumped over him? Of course he let her, so it's not like he was some kind of a victim in here but it was so humiliating for her! But when this stupid triangle-thing had been so wonderfully downplayed in S6, I have found that there are some things in Kate that can be likeable. It become clear that she loved Jack. I have to admit, though I never-ever shipped J/K, the "I missed you so much" scene from the finale really moved my heart ;)

I'm a shameless shipper
C'mon, that's the only proper kind of shipper! :D

Yeah, her growth was really impressing. But I really wish we could have seen more of this development on the screen. It's like one minute she's a runner and then bang! three years later - she's a responsible and mature mother. As a "hater" I wasn't able to believe in a sudden change like that. When I was watching "Whatever happened, happened" for the first time, I couldn't believe in Kate's feelings - her pain and her determination (of course at the time I was too absorb in hating her for coming back and ruining James&Juliet idyll - lol, say hello to my shippy obsession :D - to even consider understanding her feelings). But as I saw it once again lately, after the finale, I really believed her - damn, I even cried at this scene where she says goodbye to Aaron ( ... )
