Well, knitting AND bandom. Both at the same time. Because bandom-knitwear seems to be what my brain wants to do ( Read more... )

I can't imagine Gerard would know what to do with random undergarments flung his way. He might try to wear them? (Have you been linked to him talking about how he has spent the day dressed as a woman "as a learning experience". How is he for real?)

When we had a landline, I refused to answer it, and my work phone rings MAYBE once a week. So the talking on the phone thing is mostly a "where are you" "okay, I'll be right there". Plus, I get a bit panic-y when I lose people in crowds, and the cell is nice for that.

My iPod is of the Classic variety, because I tend to be a bit of a media turtle and want to carry everything I own around all the time (plus, BATTERY LIFE), and I've actually watched entire television series via that tiny screen on public transit , but there's no internet going on there, and my eBook is the Sony Pocket Reader, so no wireless there either. SO FAR, I don't really mind the web browsing on the tiny screen - I need some typing practice, and tiny links are TINY, but I kind of like the challenge. It's not going to replace the laptop, but I'm having fun.

I would read that one in a minute :P

(And Frank commented that he would date dressed-as-a-woman Gerard. THESE BOYS)

My brain is so text based that I have been known to email people who are in the same room, and ALSO on the computer. It's easier than making sure my voice is working at the moment, and I don't get nervous and twitchy and silent online the way I do in person.

The iPod might actually be my favorite way to watch things - I enjoy the teeny tiny screen, and the people running about on the palm of my hand, and the added intimacy of having the dialog come right through the headphones into my ear. We recently got a really big TV (as we watch a whole lot of TV) and I find the 37 inch wall of LCD kind of distracting.
