- People who randomly have the same clothes! Like Kris Allen...and Gerard Way... No, really! I realize this is exciting to maybe five people in the whole world, but I'm going to talk about it ANYWAY.
So, a few days ago, this pic goes up on the MCR website:
And I think, "oh, nice jacket, Gee!" and some things about how the pic was taken by Frank Iero and Awwww.... (also RAY TORO, you are awesomelarious! And that Gerard is looking rather pretty and introspective and like he needs to be in a spy AU of some sort. I have lots of random thoughts about AUs sometimes)
But then today, M and I are watching The Dish on the Style Network (hey, stop laughing. We watch every week. TOPANGA, people!), and this week, because he too is a Boy Meets World fanboy, there is a spot with Kris Allen, and lo and behold, he's wearing a nice jacket. In fact, it is THE VERY SAME nice jacket. (well, not THE SAME physical jacket, because, strange crossover is strange, but the same style/edition/whatever you call it of jacket)

and also Over here at EW.com , where they identify the designer of said nice jacket. Though I find myself unable to track down a picture lacking in shiny fannish boys. Anyone good with fashion-related google-fu?

- um, in case I haven't mentioned it around here....OMG I LOVE MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE . (I seem to keep my bandom flailing confined to iPod and email? IDEK. Yes, I also love Fall Out Boy. And Brand New. Apparently, I am musically 14?) And seem to be falling headfirst into the fandom and buying the DVDs and all that!
Today, I spent two hours with the "Life on the Murder Scene" documentary. SO MUCH LOVE. I am not usually one for documentaries (I have the randomest ever interview squick. I can barely watch them!) but this is somehow a perfect mix of them being SO EARNEST and SO ADORABLE and just awesome people doing good things, intercut with the perfect amount of "Oh yeah, these guys also ROCK", that I am currently FAR TOO IN LOVE to articulate much beyond \o/.
- and I have purchased BAND MERCHANDISE. From the website. Because I am that sort of girl (at least it's not Hot Topic? Dude, we HAD NO Hot Topic around when I wasn't too old to show my face in there. My sort-of-goth teen-aged self would have been in HEAVEN). They will be mailing me an MCR Hoodie and little fingerless gloves, and I shall wander around town looking like some 14 year-old goth girl while I go to my grown-up job for a great big bank!
- I really really love the Adam Lambert CD. WTAF? I spent MONTHS being all "I do not actually like Adam Lambert" (its complicated?) and then "I am apathetic towards Adam Lambert!" (less complicated?), and then there's the "For Your Entertainment" song, and I'm all "Wow, this is a lot of kink for a general audience!" and now the CD, and it turns out I sort of LOVE HIM? I could care less about the AI positioning of him as the second coming of Freddy Mercury. I do not need a new version of Queen. But this whole BDSM-tinged 80's dance pop thing! YES! DO WANT, THANK YOU! I like him as the new, leather-flavored variation on Erasure's Andy Bell!
(also, the band is hot and I'd like fic with the tiny tiny pretty bass player, internet? /shallow and pervy>)
- Do DIRECTORS count as SPN spoilers? If so I'll hide it here behind a cut:
JENSEN ACKLES to direct Supernatural's 100th episode! JENSEN!
I think he's going to be a brilliant director - there was some interview about My Bloody Valentine where the interviewer asked about working with the different 3-D cameras, and Jensen goes off on some explanation about the different camera styles and cinematography styles between MBV and SPN and how this effects the way the audience experiences the story and the characters. He's really into it, and I he might be perfectly cut out for this! (Not that I want this to take away from him being IN FRONT of the camera. Where I can see him.)
- I am CLEARED for vacation time for both Con Con and Bitchin' Party! \o/
- Hey, I can sort of talk again. A little! I've been SICK all week, and my voice has been GONE, and it's been to sort of NOT FUN that leads to doctor's visits, where they give me Vicodin for the sore throat (seriously, it hurt to breathe, I had to brace myself to swallow water, and I nearly blacked out from pain from sneezing, and I STILL thought that was a bit overkill. But, BETTER NOW!).
Yesterday, I sounded like a ghost. Today, I am all the way up to tiny demon! Like in that Buffy ep with the fear demon in the haunted house? "Fear Itself", (which apparently has BABY Aldis Hodge) and he's all scary but also turns out to be all tiny and gruff voiced. Yep. I sound like Gaknar. If Gaknar giggled a lot and talked about MCR.
