I meant to say it last week, but I'll say it now: thank you for being my only happy SPNTA flister left. I haven't been this excited about this show since season two and all I see floating around is negativity.
Yes, the Sam&Dean making-up-ness was epic, as expected. People were so busy complaining and I was like, "uh, it's the fifth episode since a pretty huge betrayal--they have some shit to work out." And Dean was lying to himself--we knew it, he knew it, Cas knew it. Calm down, folks.
I am somehow of the "if you can't say something nice" school of fandom, so I'm glad it's not just obnoxious to my flist :D PLUS, this show is better than it has ever been for me.
And I'd rather have Sam and Dean get back together in a slightly awkward way - there's still a lot of bad things built up there, and it's such a huge thing for Dean to have broken down and called Sam, because he's sort of epically stubborn.
MY SQUEES, LET ME SHOW YOU THEM. This was awesome on an epic scale and I can't even type properly. (I just had to go over that sentence two times to correct things.) SPN, MAY I GIVE YOU MY FIRSTBORN?
OH MY MOTHERFUCKING GOD, SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!
JENSEN. I JUST. ♥_♥ and CAS and SAM and LUCIFER and CHUCK and THE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEND. AND the fact that he's STILL keeping secrets! i can't WAIT to see how this plays out, OH YAYS.
and look, i KNOW there was a LOT of wonderful stuff happening THE WHOLE TIME, but could we take a second to give a standing ovation to the ART DEPARTMENT??? HOLY CRAP, that was some AWESOME apocalyptic scenery.
SHOW.
ps. that show really IS epically ridiculous! WHOA. also, STEVE. \o/

I loved every part of it - and it was the perfect blend of angst and humor, and TWO DEANS. SO MUCH AWESOME.

ZOMBIES! AND MULT-DEAN. IN WOMEN'S UNDERWEAR AND A THIGH HOLSTER. MY FLAIL, STILL VISIBLE FROM SPACE.
The apocalypse was very nicely rendered - not eyerolly OTT, but clearly the end to the world.
EASTWICK: It's like the worst thing ever, but PAUL IS FREAKISHLY HOT in it. And Steve. Hi, LIKE A VIRGIN. \o/
