Well, guess who got laid off today from the horrible suckiness that I call Convergys. That's right. I got in trouble for call avoidance. Not that I actually was....but lets call it that shall we. I was on hold waiting to get through to the Save team or "cancellation department" but the wait was longer than 2 minutes. I waited on hold for about 10 before Abudi (not my TL, but my TL's TL) comes up to me and starts treating me like a little child. "Now Cathy...what are we supposed to do with a cancellation?" I say, "Warm transfer to the save team" and he's like, "And if the wait is longer than 2 minutes?" I'm like, "I dunno." He says, "Wer're supposed to assist them ourselves." I'lm like, "I'm supposed to cancel them?" He nods, "And leave really detailed notes, after you've made save attepmts." Well, I say, "I don't know what the save attempts are. And I didn't know we were supposed to cancel them ourselves." But whatever. I was already on a CAP 3 for call avoidance cuz I hung up on a cust while we were arguing, and I was being monitered. So the waiting on hold for 10 minutes when I'm not supposed to, was completely unacceptable. I just need to find like kitchen work, or a music store....or god forbid, another call center. But before I get into that. I'm gonna call Terri, this absolutely fabulous woman who I was talking about sewing with. I'll see if she needs help, like she said she did, and see if she's talking about a paid position. Cuz I'd love that. And maybe the whole being fired thing, has given me the opportunity to fall along with this, cuz I've been putting off calling her. I'm gonna do that as soon as I'm done here. Wish me luck.
