Whoooooo....vacation!
Woot! I'm in BC again. 3rd year in a row. Except, the last 2 times I was in Vancouver, staying with my buddy Chris. This time I'm in Courtenay, staying with my roommates and her mother. I went down to 5th st and looked around, did some shopping, and got my ear pierced twice, and put a spiral piercing in. I looked in the Romance Store for a pair of thigh high boots....but apparantely they're stuck at the border....and most likely wont be here by the time I take off. I booked a tattoo appointment for tomorrow at one of the shops, and i'm really looking forward to it.
Yesterday my one roommate and her mother took me down to Victoria for the day. We started off by going through the wax museum....that was cool, there were some awesome horror type sculptures....mostly events in history, and methods of torture, you know...the cool stuff. Then we went down to a boat where they have a scuba diver, and you look out the windows of the boat (which are underwater) and the scuba diver shows off different fish. I got to see an octopus up close, and a starfish, and a crab. I even got to pet a starfish, that was cool, the top was soft and felt kinda slimy....but there were also little pokey bits under the soft bits....Next the roommate and her mom were going to drop me off at the mall to do some shopping while they visited people....but I had something else in mind. I went to another tattoo parlour, and the guy just happened to be doing walk-ins that day. So I told him what I wanted, and he tattooed me half an hour later (after finding a design, doing shading and making the stencil). So, I got pierced just under a week ago....got tattooed yesterday, and am getting another tattoo tomorrow...I'm going to be one sore person. Thankfully I wont be cramped up in the car for 18 or so hours until friday. I'm not telling anybody what I'm getting tattooed, or where. You will have to wait and find out.
I think I'm a bit wierder than I originally thought....the tattoo I got yesterday, was quite painful in some spots....but, for some odd reason, I was getting kinda turned on by it. Damn masochism....it bites you at the oddest times. I knew that I'd do piercings and tattoos to relieve stress....cuz it gives me something else to focus on....but this....I'm crazy.
I'm going to be heading to Vancouver tomorrow after the tattoo to do some more visiting, and maybe even partying.
