FUCKED.
Wishful thought.
The last few days have been really tough at work. With the continuing transition to a new manager, and the drastic change in weather shifting our demand of products, things have been tough, and tension continues to build among coworkers, even the good ones! =[
But enough about work (it sucks, end of it) On the awesome stuff!
I've been talking to dad the last few days though email. He just got back to Ecuador from a short vacation he took to Panama (jealous). I suggested visiting the family this summer, to which he had to hesitation. I also told him we should have a mini vacation of our own to either Galapagos or Vilcabamba (yes, I'm still obsess with that darn little pueblito), just the two of us, to try and reconnect and build our relationship. I'm hopeful, and at the same time frightened. I highly doubt dad has gotten over the whole "YOU'RE SICK IN THE HEAD, HENCE WHY YOU'RE GAY. YOU NEED HELP!" crap.... But, I am hopeful~
Asides from my short visit back "home", I'm still hoping to make it to Tokyo for a few days with 1-5, Nasu and others~
Another event to look forward to is next month's STIMULATE show with Angelspit and God Module (GM's new album is pretty good! what I've heard so far, anyway)
I will be meeting up, hopefully, with Mel and Grabrielle. I'm also bring Fran along to meet some of my friends and have with me, since he's always taking me to have fun with his friends. He's a cool guy to have around, anyway~
The theme of the event is Alice and Wonderland, and I will be dressing up as the white rabbit! I got my ears in the mail yesterday, and since I couldn't find a ruff to purchase online, I simply made one! WIth the help of Amr (he provided a link that showed how to make a simple ruff) I finished my first ruff before going to bed last night <3
