A New Light

As I lay awake and see the sun rising
I am starting to see a new horizon
For every door slammed shut two more have opened
It leaves me with the thought of serious hoping
I see the beauty in the fluffy clouds
And the smells of those puffy palms
I can see more clearly now
And I must really say WOW
I will begin each day with a whole new light
For i am the one who will win this fight
So for all you out there i say judge
For what you think don't mean a thing
As i get ready for the bed
I have found the peace in me
