4x18: Reaction
And next week, there's no new ep? :(
Well, the break's not probably a bad idea, considering how much the Show's given us to chew on this season... and who knows? Maybe I'll be able to spin out something other than half-assed random bits of fics. There's a desire to make a "Road So Far" picspam with screencaps from the Show and quotes from Legacy of Kain-series. Because, really, there are numerous lines eerily befitting the Show in those games... and the whole Free Will vs. Fate? *hee*
But now onwards to the ep!
ETA: I've been having trouble concentrating lately. Partially, I believe, it's because this ep's the way it is. Sleeping didn't help, I'm afraid, so... random.
I'm in the mood to skip-skip-skip Then, but... Nah. The Show's been good this season; the baby eating my brain cells probably helps, too.

There is, however, a man who's dreaming about the boys and \o/ the box o' IDs! and...comics? Including a Superman with a cover painted by Alex Ross (ETA: Issue #681). \o/ And a guy wearing a Star Wars-shirt. 'Course. *hee*

*gets worried* I always do when a show on TV features an ep with nerds and geeks. The one in Bones I liked, though.

Agents DeYoung and Shaw. Are the boys re-using IDs? That'd be a first. ETA: 'Young' fooled me. :p But I do believe that it'd be likely for the boys to reuse IDs then and again... Especially since they've been impersonating feds rather a lot, imo.

And Sam utterly failing at taking it in a stride... unlike his brother. You'd think the youngest Winchester would've learned something by now... other than Further Lies I Told My Brother. *broods*

But I'm guessing that the guy with the beard and the dreams is this 'Carver Edlund', and that he's a psychic. Of a kind. Dreaming of Sam'n'Dean, using the books to 'exorcise' them... A cool concept, but far from unique, imo. As it is, here it merely serves to remind me of a 13-ep TV show from early 90s, Dead at 21. And for a good reason.

Oh, good graces... I know the Show seems like a fanfic sometimes, but gods... This ep's making me self-conscious, though. And firmly of the opinion that (other than gen) fanfic should not be brought to the attention of The Powers That Be.

But not this, the boys way too bloody wounded to have words. They should try exchanging emails, or something. It hurts to see the boys like this, because I recognize that state. Feelings too raw, too close to the surface to be able to keep calm, state your case and listen to the other face to face... On the other hand, that's one way to tell that the relationship's not over: you feel too much for the other to get anything but scared senseless by the concept of losing them...

I also think I like Dean with Chuck. And Chuck all by himself. *hugses the two*
