There are no spoilers for episodes after 3x01, really. Just an acknowledgement of the existence of the episodes.

That screenshot's so beautiful I couldn't ignore it. And after talking with hugemind, it just all clicked, you know?
I now know it's possible to get vaclempt while reading meta thanks to you. *sniff* Um, I'm not sure about that term you used, but... Thanks? *hugs, just in case*
The further the season gets, the farther the boys seem to drift apart, both stubbornly holding onto their own ideas on how to deal with everything that's happened, everything they've already gone through. It's painful to see, dreadful to think where all of it will take them, but...It's them. If they can't drag themselves out of the hole they've dug themselves, who can? I'm hoping that the two of them will realize that the only way they'll survive this year is by holding onto each other, acting like partners again. "I think we should do this together. We're stronger as a family," says Dean to John in Dead Man's Blood (1x20)... but that was so long ago, so many broken dreams ago...
The grave... The depth of it caught my attention, and then I couldn't shrug off the feeling that 'shallow grave' is a figure of speech and went and googled it. And thus I ran across this. And the boys are regarded as murderers, as fugitives. At least in the eyes of the law. Then I also went and read about mass graves.
*bows* I'm just doing what I can, and I know nothing about camera angles and all that jazz, so...
*hugs* Thank You for reading. It's always such a delight to hear you've liked something I've written. Besides, without your and hugemind's takes on 3x01, I wouldn't have even known where to begin, how to do this whole thing. So I really should be thanking you. :)
Oh, and this idea? Seems to be exactly what my metamare likes. Because being limited to just one screencap, one scene, forces me to really dig into the details, find everything I can in that view alone. And that's the way my brain works: it notices some tiny little thing, and gets obsessed with it. :) Warning: I break that rule, repeatedly, in the meta for 3x02. But at least I was able to contain myself to that one place, almost that single scene, and not include the whole damn episode, or several... ;)
