I'm still alive
So WAY to much has happened since I last updated. For those that don't want to read it all the readers digest version is that I'm alive, health is so so, house burned down, have a great man, still working at deja vu, and leaving for my first real vacation in about a decade on thursday (YAY!!!).
the major thing was the house burning down. Gary (the man I've been with for the last 8 months) and I moved into a 2bd rm 4-plex. Really a nice place. We signed the lease on January 5th. When we came home from work on February 10th the apartment above us had an electrical fire and our ceiling had been torn to the floor in the kitchen and the bedroom. We didn't lose much and both our cats were ok. Needless to say I am now a firm believer in renters insurance.
The only funny thing that came out of the situation is that the cleaners that came got there before we could get our stuff out so they bagged up all of our bedding and moved around the furniture. As we were packing up gary looked in the closet only to realize that the had stolen the 2 pornos that were in there. We hadn't even had a chance to watch them yet to see if they were good !!
I hope that everyone is doing well, and don't give up on me, I'll make it back up there eventually.
