I'm so glad that this fic worked. I really wasn't sure I had them down enough to take the plunge, but then I couldn't not write this one, and my girl said post it (She read it for me, even though she doesn't watch the show 'cause she's that awesome. lol) so I did. Having an author whose fic I kind of love (I suck at leaving feedback because I'm kind of embarrassingly bad about fangirly flailing if I do comment, but your Dean-writes-Glee fic is MADE of awesome!) leave good feedback is very much with the happy making!
The Danny and Steve talking in front of Rachel thing is just something I can't see them not doing. They don't seem to care where they are or who's watching when the start off on a tangent at each other on the show, and yeah. The Danny and Steve in my head would probably argue like an old married couple at a funeral, though quietly of course, and Steve would try hard not to smile too much because of respect for the dead, but yeah. He can't help it, he loves making Danny crazy. ;-D
Grace would insist on her and Danny spending time with Steve, I think, because Steve's awesome. *snickers* She's like, mini Danny to me, so all the things Danny's drawn to would be things Gracie liked too. The Grace in my head would get a kick out of giggling at Danny and Steve bickering and teasing each other, and she'd be a little instigator just because it's fun to watch her Danno lose it spectacularly. She thinks the flailing is funny, which is part of why she wanted to surf so bad. ;->
And Kono and Chin? Dude. They have to have some kind of hobby, what with working for a crazy man and his control freak partner. Laughing at their bosses and placing bets on their sex life is more fun than doing paperwork, any day.

After I read this fic, I realized it was H5-O night and spent all night being like, "Is it daytime yet, so I can watch some Danny&Steve please?" Really, I'm too nice, not turning on the TV after my sister goes to sleep when I really, really was hit with a Hawaii Five-O craving hard.
Having an author whose fic I kind of love (I suck at leaving feedback because I'm kind of embarrassingly bad about fangirly flailing if I do comment, but your Dean-writes-Glee fic is MADE of awesome!) leave good feedback is very much with the happy making!
Dude! Thanks! I generally am lazy and don't comment but my rule of thumb is, if it is good enough to save to my favorites, the author deserves a comment. The Dean-writes-Glee-fic is something I am really proud of, so I'm glad to keep getting love for it!

It's true, they had their little love-bickering in the middle of a hostage situation once, they really don't care who sees them do it. And that SMILE! Yes, that little "Awwww-I-love-you-too" smile that Steve gives Danny. Eep. A H5-O fic just sparked in my head. Dammit. Well, now I've officially fallen into this fandom and I guess I have to go write now. :)
I just saw this week's episode and my heart went all thumpy-thump over Danny and Grace at the beginning. And did you see Chin giving Danny "dating" advice on how to handle Steve? In the scene at the bar. I was like squee over that.

I so sympathize! All day today I kept wanting to watch it, but I was busy and didn't have time until it was Glee time, and then after that I was all OMG about Glee and yeah. H5-0 is getting it's own night tomorrow so I can rewatch as usual. ;-D And yes, you are too nice! Sister-type person should be grateful! lol

Yeah, Danny's smile is like a little, "I will give you this smile because I can't brush my fingers through your hair right now." It's like he wants to touch him but he can't, so he says it in a smile. Er, or something. Not that I notice every time Danny smiles at me, er, Steve.
The fic that sparked in my head may be entirely built around them smiling at each other, so...okay then. I have a thing for their stupid smiles. /blushes/

Dude, seriously. There was squeaking and maybe some 'awww' because Danny's so in love with him and when Steve said 'I know you' he meant 'I love you', and yes. I loved that bit!

EEEEE!!!! I love the smiles too! Like, so freaking much it's sad and my mom refuses to watch the show with me anymore because I fangirl over them smiling at each other too much. *giggles* Write that fic! Writewritewrite!
