If there is one thing I love, it is a story about killer robots. If there is one movie franchise that encapsulates this, it is the Terminator movies (maybe I should watch the TV show, but I am somewhat wary of adaptations of big action movies for a broadcast series). When I first heard about the upcoming Terminator Salvation, I was dubious in part because of T3, and also in part because it's being directed by McG. But hey, Christian Bale is in it, and he's not growling all his lines. Also, the trailers look really cool, and the latest one pretty effectively uses "The Day The World Went Away" by Nine Inch Nails.
I wish I still had the Terminator endoskeleton figure from the T2 line. How crazy is it that there was a kid oriented toy line for T2? That was back in the old days before the adult oriented toy lines we have today.
Now that the Summer movie season is almost here, I think it's time to make
another post about the upcoming movies I'm excited about seeing. With more of my childhood nostalgia being exploited than last year!
