This morning, Sam Barnett (SEE ICON) responded to one of my tweets, confirming that he was doing a reading of Anne Washburn's AMAZING translation of Euripides' Orestes.
CUE THE TAPDANCING CHORUS BOYS OF 'TWITTER BFFS'!
The Folger did this translation last season and it was BRILLIANT and I wrote about it here and I would do BAD THINGS INDEED to see Sam in the show. Sadly, the reading is at the Gate Theatre in London, so it might be difficult for me to leave work early enough to get there tonight. AH WELL.
In other news, I got a Diet Pepsi from the company dramaturg yesterday. CLEARLY, I am moving up in the theatrical world.
