So I went to see Christine (Marie Bayon) tonight. Hadn't seen her in a year or so. We mostly sat on her couch watching Scooby Doo with her adorable kid Matty. He kept giving me hugs and cuddles, which was awesome! haha
And on that note, I have two observations....
1) It's interesting how friendships work sometimes...how you can go months, a year, years without seeing someone, and just fall back into an automatic "click" as if you had never stopped talking. Conversely, it's also interesting how someone you have had a falling out with, you can stop talking to for a long time and then the animosity just completely seeps out from your system, and V2.0 of that friendship can be 100% automatically better! That wasn't the case here, but it reminded me of it.
2) I love kids. I cannot wait to be a father and have a family. True, the whole "finding a woman" thing is in the way...but it's not that easy! I've yet to find someone that clicks with me in every way that I think is necessary. I gave up, long ago, the impulse to hold on for someone that matched everything I wanted....but at the same time there are certain things that for me are a MUST....and cannot be settle for less. I've come close many times, even very very close, but it just never seems to all fit. ANYWAY......kids rule. I love them. I'm great with them. Can't wait to have them!
