I sound my barbaric YAWP...
Aaaargh! Yes I am alive, and grumpy as hell.
I've been in Pretoria for a month, effectively internet-less which is enough to make me twitchy. I've been back for a week, my mom leaves for the weekend, so I'm home alone as the first "developed cold front" rolls in over Cape Town - biiiig storm. So, of course, the lights flicker, my 'net drops every hour or so and finally, just as I'm on my last nerve, the power goes out. And stays out for 7 and a half hours. It's freezing cold, was dark by 4:00pm, boring to the point of tears and I'm all slept out. Finally the power came back but my net has just dropped again. Will have to reconnect again. *sigh*
I'm never going to get caught up with my blogs/email/downloads at this rate and I'm doing research for a job interview I have on Tuesday.
Graaah, I hate the world today.
