2007 is shaping up to be a good year in the world of rock 'n roll.
Arcade Fire released a new album this week. It's great. Not as great as Funeral, but still great. Of Montreal's recent release is, in my opinion, the best thing they've ever done. Bright Eyes released a new EP this week, and it's quite good - and it's just a precursor to a new full-length album to be released in the near future. New Modest Mouse on March 20. New Blonde Redhead on April 10. New Andrew Bird coming soon. Probably a new Over the Rhine album sometime this year. And I'm sure there are more. Plus, Radiohead is recording (although their album probably won't be out till 2008). It's all very exciting.
