update
my brother is okay. his face smashed against his windshield, which shattered (he was not actually thrown from his truck as i was originally told), and his face is cut up pretty badly, but he didn't suffer any broken bones or permanent damage. he is apparently in a lot of pain, but he will heal, so thank god for that. from what i know, no one else was seriously injured in the accident. thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
